Risk Analyst at GTI Investment
Job Description
GTI Investment is seeking an experienced Risk Analyst to support its Risk Management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for helping the organization identify, assess, and manage operational risks to ensure activities remain within acceptable risk tolerance levels and align with strategic objectives. This role involves developing controls, monitoring risk indicators, and supporting departments with risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Group Risk team in managing risks related to systems, processes, people, and external factors.
- Assist departments in identifying operational risks and implementing appropriate mitigation controls.
- Ensure compliance with the organization’s operational risk management framework, policies, and procedures.
- Track, report, and analyze operational risk events, and recommend preventive controls.
- Conduct annual Risk & Control Self Assessments (RCSAs) and monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
- Follow up on the implementation of risk mitigation actions and monitor risk exposure levels within the business unit.
Requirements:
- HND or Bachelor’s degree in a Business-related course, Economics, Accounting, or Engineering.
- A Master’s degree or relevant professional certification is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the financial services sector.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
