Job Description
A Risk Analyst is needed to support the identification, measurement, monitoring, and reporting of financial and operational risks across investment portfolios and business activities. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while maintaining alignment with the organization’s risk appetite. This position is ideal for candidates with a strong analytical mindset and interest in asset management and risk control.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor risks across investment portfolios including fixed income, equities, alternatives, and funds
- Perform Value-at-Risk (VaR) computations and track mark-to-market (MTM) movements and portfolio performance
- Review portfolio concentration limits, diversification metrics, and stop-loss thresholds, escalating breaches where necessary
- Track liquidity metrics including Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR), cash flow projections, and redemption risks
- Monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and operational risk incidents across departments
- Support risk and control self-assessment (RCSA) exercises and ensure adherence to internal procedures
- Assist in preparing risk reports, dashboards, and summaries for management and risk committees
- Support regulatory compliance processes, audits, and documentation for inspections
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in asset management, banking, or finance-related roles
- Knowledge of financial instruments such as bonds, Sukuk, commercial papers, and equities
- Familiarity with economic indicators including interest rates, inflation, and foreign exchange trends
- Strong analytical, reporting, and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Professional certifications are an added advantage
