Location: Lagos Mainland | Salary: ₦500,000 Gross
A reputable organization in the FMCG sector is seeking to hire a competent Safety Manager to oversee workplace health and safety procedures. This role is ideal for professionals who are proactive, compliant with regulatory standards, and have a background in managing safety protocols within the fast-moving consumer goods industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies across the organization.
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend preventive measures to mitigate hazards.
- Organize regular training and emergency drills for staff.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations.
- Investigate and report incidents, accidents, or near misses, and follow up with corrective action plans.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Safety Manager within the FMCG sector.
- Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety guidelines and laws.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Certification in Health & Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is an added advantage.
