A leading renewable energy company is seeking a skilled Sales Manager (Commercial & Industrial Battery Energy Storage Systems – C&I BESS) to drive business growth and customer development across Nigeria. This role requires a strategic thinker with technical knowledge and strong sales acumen in solar inverter and energy storage solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead customer development initiatives and manage overall customer satisfaction.
- Drive and achieve set sales and marketing targets, including orders, market share, and profitability.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans within the assigned region.
- Establish strong alliances with key stakeholders including distributors and project integrators.
- Explore and penetrate new markets beyond the traditional customer base.
- Represent the brand at trade shows, workshops, and industry conferences.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and technical support.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
- At least 2 years of proven sales experience in solar inverters or battery storage solutions.
- Strong communication and technical presentation skills.
- Sound understanding of solar and storage systems, including single line diagrams and energy storage architecture.
- Proficiency in English and the local language.
- A valid driver’s license is mandatory.
