Job Description
A fast-growing company in the renewable energy sector is seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to lead business development and revenue growth. This role focuses on driving the adoption of solar and power solutions, building strong client relationships, and expanding market reach across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in B2B sales and a strong understanding of energy solutions.
Location: Oregun, Ikeja – Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: N400,000 monthly
Reporting To: Managing Director (MD)
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to increase revenue and market share
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across various sectors
- Promote and sell renewable energy solutions including solar systems, inverters, batteries, and power installations
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and key stakeholders
- Conduct site visits, assess client needs, and recommend suitable energy solutions
- Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and technical presentations
- Negotiate and close high-value deals to meet or exceed sales targets
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer demands
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure smooth project execution
- Track sales performance, manage pipeline, and provide regular reports to management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- 4–6 years of proven sales experience, preferably in renewable energy or power-related industries
- Strong knowledge of solar energy systems and power solutions
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills
- Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate solutions clearly
- Strong business development and client relationship management skills
- Self-motivated and target-driven with the ability to work independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools is an advantage
