Job Description

PalmPay Limited is seeking a results-driven Sales Trainer to support the growth of its Mobile Installment (BNPL) product across retail outlets nationwide. This role focuses on equipping Sales Agents and Field Supervisors with the skills, product knowledge, and sales strategies required to drive customer acquisition, improve performance, and maintain compliance standards in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement structured onboarding and continuous training programs for sales teams
  • Create training materials including product guides, sales scripts, and objection-handling frameworks
  • Deliver physical and virtual training sessions to improve sales conversion and compliance
  • Conduct field visits to provide real-time coaching, mentoring, and performance support
  • Assess sales agent performance through evaluations, role-plays, and knowledge tests
  • Monitor key metrics such as conversion rates and compliance levels, and recommend improvements
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align training with product updates and operational goals

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Education, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in sales training or field sales coaching, preferably in fintech, telecoms, or lending sectors
  • Strong understanding of BNPL, consumer credit, or mobile device financing
  • Proven ability to train and manage high-volume sales teams
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and facilitation skills
  • Ability to travel frequently and provide on-site coaching
