Job Description
A leading consultancy is seeking a highly experienced SAP Project Director to lead end-to-end SAP transformation initiatives, including SAP S/4HANA and ECC implementations. The role requires executive-level leadership, strategic program oversight, and the ability to drive measurable business outcomes across complex organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead large-scale SAP transformation programs, managing scope, roadmap, milestones, budget, and benefits realization.
- Oversee multiple SAP functional workstreams, including FI/CO, MM, SD, PM, PS, HCM, BW/BI, and IS-Oil.
- Establish program governance, PMO structures, and chair executive steering committee meetings.
- Manage SAP system integrators and vendors, ensuring adherence to SLAs, quality standards, and contractual commitments.
- Drive risk management, quality assurance, and compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
- Sponsor organizational change management, training, and user adoption programs to ensure sustainable SAP process integration.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Finance, or Business; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- 15–25 years of experience delivering large-scale SAP programs, with at least 8 years in senior leadership roles.
- Proven track record in sectors such as Oil & Gas, Energy, Utilities, Manufacturing, or Infrastructure.
- Experience in Africa or emerging markets is an advantage.
- Certifications preferred: PMP, PRINCE2, SAP S/4HANA, or related SAP certifications. Agile/SAFe exposure is a plus.
- Strong skills in enterprise SAP program leadership, vendor and stakeholder management, financial and commercial oversight, and executive communication.
