Job Description
Lington and Bernie Consulting Limited, a reputable firm located in Ikoyi, Lagos, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the company’s financial records, ensuring accuracy, and contributing to strategic financial planning.
Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: N300,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, analyze, and present financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement financial policies, controls, and procedures to optimize efficiency.
- Reconcile accounts and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and documented.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on cost-saving and investment opportunities.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree/HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related fields.
- A Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or professional certifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA) is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools and accounting software (e.g., Sage 50, Zoho, and other packages).
- Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
