Overview:
A well-established organization in the hospitality sector is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee financial operations and ensure accurate reporting and cost control. This role is ideal for a finance professional with a solid background in cost accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis within the hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to ensure compliance and financial integrity.
  • Conduct cost accounting and budgeting activities to enhance financial performance.
  • Supervise and support junior accounting staff, providing guidance and training where necessary.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ accounting experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Proficiency in cost accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
  • Advanced Excel and data analytics skills.
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
