Location: Lagos & Ibadan (On-site)
Salary: ₦700,000 – ₦900,000 monthly
About the Role
A reputable organization is seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to support their financial operations in Lagos and Ibadan. This role is ideal for experienced professionals with a strong background in accounting, particularly within agriculture, manufacturing, or FMCG sectors. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, analyze, and present financial reports and statements.
- Manage budgeting processes, including seasonal budget planning and agricultural cost assessments.
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax regulations and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar systems for efficient financial management.
Requirements
- A B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- ICAN or ACCA certification (or currently at an advanced stage).
- Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience, preferably in agriculture, manufacturing, or FMCG industries.
- Strong understanding of agricultural cost structures and seasonal financial cycles.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and effective communication skills.
