Job Description

Youverify is seeking an experienced Senior Android Engineer to design and build scalable, secure, and high-performance Android applications and SDKs. This role is ideal for a professional who is passionate about clean architecture, mobile best practices, and delivering reliable products that meet both user and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications and SDKs using Java and Kotlin
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code with test coverage of at least 80 percent
  • Implement new features and improve existing functionalities based on product requirements and user feedback
  • Define and promote Android architecture, coding standards, and best practices
  • Ensure application scalability, performance, reliability, and security compliance
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback
  • Participate actively in agile processes including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
  • Perform thorough testing, debugging, and performance optimization
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for applications, SDKs, and features
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Android products

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Android application development
  • Strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin
  • Proven experience building and maintaining Android SDKs
  • Solid knowledge of Android SDK, Android Studio, and related development tools
  • Good understanding of mobile UI and UX principles
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs, JSON, and web services
  • Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
  • Knowledge of software design patterns and mobile architecture principles
  • Experience with performance tuning and optimization
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently with attention to detail and quality
