A leading FMCG distribution company in Nigeria is seeking a skilled Senior Assistant Sales Manager to oversee and expand sales operations within the modern trade sector, particularly in Lagos and the Southwest. This role requires a results-driven professional with strong market knowledge, excellent relationship management skills, and proven success in consumer goods sales.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet growth targets in the modern trade sector
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and retail partners
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities
- Collaborate with marketing teams to design and implement promotional campaigns
- Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to achieve performance objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in modern trade sales, preferably within FMCG
- Demonstrated record of meeting sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Solid knowledge of key accounts in Nigeria’s modern trade sector
