A leading Human Resources solutions firm seeks a highly skilled Senior Associate II to join its client’s legal team in Ikoyi, Lagos. This role is ideal for a litigation lawyer with deep experience in appellate practice and strong leadership abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in appellate matters before the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court.
- Draft high-quality appellate and respondent briefs, as well as notices of appeal.
- Supervise junior lawyers and lead litigation teams in complex legal cases.
- Manage trials from initiation through completion, ensuring excellent case outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B) with 10–15 years of post-call experience in core litigation.
- Proven record of appearances at the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court.
- Exceptional drafting, written, and oral advocacy skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and mentor junior associates.
- Strong knowledge of current superior court decisions and statutory provisions.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
