Job Description

An Investment & Asset Management firm is recruiting a Senior Business Development & Capital Formation Manager to lead investor acquisition and assets under management (AUM) growth across Africa, Europe, and the United States. This is a senior leadership role focused on capital raising, fund positioning, and institutional relationship management across multiple asset classes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead capital raising initiatives to grow AUM across target regions including Africa, Europe, and the U.S.
• Develop and execute investor acquisition strategies focused on institutional and high-net-worth segments.
• Build and manage long-term relationships with Pension Funds, DFIs, Family Offices, and other institutional investors.
• Represent the firm at global financial forums, roadshows, and investor meetings.
• Collaborate with executive leadership on fund positioning, structuring, and cross-border growth strategies.
• Support market entry strategies and partnership development across multiple geographies.

Requirements

• MBA or MSc in Finance; CFA or CAIA certification is an added advantage.
• 8–10 years’ experience in Investment Banking, Asset Management, Institutional Sales, or related fields.
• Demonstrated success in capital raising and institutional investor engagement.
• Strong understanding of fund structuring, SEC regulations, and regulatory compliance.
• Established professional network with Pension Funds, DFIs, and Family Offices.
• SEC Sponsored Individual status is highly preferred.
