Location: Uyo, Akwa Ibom
Job Type: Contract (1-year, renewable)

Short Description:
A reputable upstream oil and gas company is seeking a qualified Senior Civil Engineer to support civil and structural aspects of EPC projects. This contract-based position involves overseeing engineering design, ensuring code compliance, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, cost-effective solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and review civil and structural engineering designs, drawings, and calculations
  • Ensure adherence to industry codes, project specifications, and safety standards
  • Develop technical documents, cost estimates, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs)
  • Provide engineering support during procurement, fabrication, and construction
  • Participate in project and design review meetings, and resolve site-related issues

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s degree is an advantage)
  • 8–12 years of relevant experience, preferably in oil and gas EPC environments
  • Valid COREN certification (or equivalent professional license)
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, Civil 3D, or similar design software
  • Solid understanding of international engineering codes and standards
