Overview
Dangote Group is seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist (AI) to support its data-driven initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to apply advanced machine learning and deep learning techniques to solve real-world business problems, contributing to innovation and efficiency across various departments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy AI solutions using machine learning and deep learning methodologies
  • Analyze large and complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed AI capabilities into existing business systems
  • Optimize AI models for scalability, performance, and reliability
  • Mentor junior data scientists and provide expert guidance on best practices in AI

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Master’s or Ph.D. in a related field is an advantage
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in AI or machine learning roles
  • Proficiency in Python, R, or SQL
  • Experience with frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras
  • Strong analytical and statistical skills
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
  • Certifications in AI, machine learning, or data science are desirable
