Job Description

The Senior Director, Consumer Customer Segmentation will lead the design and execution of segmentation strategies across the Nigeria and Egypt franchise. This role focuses on helping the Coca-Cola system better understand consumers, shoppers, and customers to unlock growth opportunities. It involves close collaboration with marketing, commercial, and analytics teams to translate insights into effective business strategies across diverse and fast-growing markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement consumer, shopper, and customer segmentation frameworks tailored to the Nigeria and Egypt markets
  • Identify high-value segments and growth opportunities to guide portfolio, channel, and customer strategies
  • Translate data insights into actionable commercial plans, including pricing, packaging, and category expansion
  • Lead customer and channel segmentation across Modern Trade, Traditional Trade, HORECA, wholesalers, and digital commerce
  • Collaborate with Data & Analytics teams to build advanced segmentation models and performance dashboards
  • Provide insight-driven recommendations for joint business planning and customer engagement strategies
  • Support route-to-market planning and improve execution standards across channels
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with marketing, commercial, and bottling partners to embed segmentation into decision-making

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field
  • Master’s Degree or MBA is an added advantage
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in consumer insights, segmentation, analytics, marketing strategy, or commercial planning
  • Strong experience within FMCG, beverage, or retail industries
  • Proven expertise in segmentation methods, data modeling, and translating insights into business strategies
  • Experience working across multiple markets or complex business environments, preferably within Africa
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to simplify complex data into actionable business insights
