Senior Finance Officer at GIG Mobility

Job Description

GIG Mobility is seeking a highly experienced Senior Finance Officer to lead and strengthen its financial management and strategic planning functions. This role is critical to driving financial performance, ensuring compliance, and supporting long-term business growth through sound financial leadership and insight.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and plans aligned with organizational goals and long-term vision.
• Oversee core financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cash flow management, and risk management.
• Lead and manage the annual budgeting and forecasting process in collaboration with department heads and senior management.
• Monitor financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and KPIs, providing analysis, insights, and recommendations to improve results.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and reports in line with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies to ensure full financial and tax compliance.
• Establish and maintain strong internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard assets and ensure reporting accuracy.
• Conduct financial analysis and modeling to support strategic decision-making, investments, and business planning initiatives.
• Assess and manage financial risks, including credit, market, interest rate, and foreign exchange risks.
• Provide financial guidance and performance reports to senior management and the board, supporting informed decision-making.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Master’s degree in Finance or an MBA is an added advantage.
• Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or CFA is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in a senior or leadership finance role with strong expertise in financial management and strategic planning.
• Demonstrated ability to lead finance teams and drive performance improvement in a structured organization.
