Job Description

GIG Mobility is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Officer to provide strategic financial leadership and oversight across its operations. This role is responsible for driving sound financial planning, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting business growth through data-driven financial insights and controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute financial strategies, policies, and plans aligned with organizational goals and long-term growth.
• Lead and manage the finance function, providing direction to finance managers, analysts, and accountants.
• Oversee core financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cash flow, and risk management.
• Coordinate the annual budgeting and forecasting process in collaboration with department heads and senior leadership.
• Monitor financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and KPIs; analyze variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in line with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulators to ensure full compliance.
• Strengthen internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard assets and maintain reporting integrity.
• Conduct financial analysis and modeling to support strategic decisions, investments, and business planning.
• Assess and manage financial risks, including currency, credit, interest rate, and market risks.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline; an MBA or Master’s degree in Finance is an advantage.
• Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or CFA is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in a senior finance or finance leadership role.
• Strong expertise in financial management, strategic planning, and performance improvement.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
