Job Description

A reputable company in the Retail, Fashion & FMCG sector is currently recruiting for the position of Senior HR Manager to oversee its human resources operations in Lagos. The ideal candidate must be highly strategic with a strong grasp of HR functions including compliance, talent development, employee engagement, and performance management. This role is best suited for a seasoned HR professional capable of aligning human capital strategies with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute HR strategies that support overall business objectives
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and the full employee life cycle
  • Ensure full compliance with Nigerian labor laws and employment regulations
  • Drive employee engagement, performance management, and learning programs

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • At least 7 years of experience in human resources, including 3 years in a leadership role
  • Solid understanding of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices
  • Professional certifications such as CIPM or SHRM will be an added advantage

Preferred Experience:

  • Background in FMCG, tech, or manufacturing sectors
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office tools
