Senior HVAC Specialist

Job Description

Ascentech Services Limited is recruiting a highly experienced Senior HVAC Specialist to oversee the design, installation, maintenance, and optimization of HVAC systems. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and the ability to manage complex projects while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will play a key role in delivering efficient and reliable climate control solutions across projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and review HVAC system layouts, calculations, and technical specifications.
• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC equipment and components.
• Diagnose and resolve complex system faults involving chillers, AHUs, VRF/VRV systems, and refrigeration units.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and industry regulations.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation, reports, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate effectively with contractors, vendors, and cross-functional project teams.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior technicians and support staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years’ HVAC experience, including at least 3 years in a senior-level role.
• Strong knowledge of chillers, AHUs, VRF/VRV systems, ducting, and refrigeration systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documents.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC control systems and energy efficiency practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills.
