Job Description

DMOT Enterprises, a fast-growing FMCG company, is seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Manager, Sales to lead its sales operations in Lagos. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, strengthening market presence, and leading a high-performing sales team across key territories. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and deep knowledge of the FMCG route-to-market structure in Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to refine sales tactics and strengthen value propositions.
• Prepare accurate sales forecasts and provide regular pipeline reports to executive leadership.
• Collaborate with Marketing to align on lead generation initiatives, campaign performance, and brand messaging.
• Partner with Product and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless onboarding and strong client retention.
• Provide daily coaching, mentorship, and performance management to sales team members.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, team meetings, and one-on-one sessions to address challenges and improve results.
• Optimize and refine the sales process to improve conversion rates at every stage of the funnel.
• Utilize CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot to track performance, manage pipelines, and generate actionable insights.
• Lead negotiations for complex, high-value contracts to secure mutually beneficial agreements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is an added advantage).
• Minimum of 7 years progressive sales experience, with at least 3–5 years in a sales leadership or management role within the FMCG sector.
• Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets both as an individual contributor and as a team leader.
• Strong understanding of the FMCG industry and distribution channels.
• In-depth knowledge of route-to-market strategies across Pan Nigeria.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and sales performance analytics tools.
