Senior Quantity Surveyor – M-P Infrastructure

Job Description

M-P Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee strategic cost planning, contract administration, and commercial management for large-scale infrastructure projects. The role involves delivering accurate budgeting, efficient procurement, and ensuring all works meet legal, safety, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead cost planning, budgeting, and financial forecasting for infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and analyze profit and loss statements, financial reports, and expenditure breakdowns.
• Oversee contract administration, claims management, and risk control processes.
• Conduct market research for cost benchmarking on materials and labor.
• Negotiate and finalize contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 16 years post-qualification experience in large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Proven expertise in cost estimation, tendering, and contract administration.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC, NEC, JCT contract forms, engineering methodologies, and procurement strategies.
• Professional certification such as RICS, NIQS, CIOB, or ICES is highly desirable.
