Job Description
M-P Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee strategic cost planning, contract administration, and commercial management for large-scale infrastructure projects. The role involves delivering accurate budgeting, efficient procurement, and ensuring all works meet legal, safety, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cost planning, budgeting, and financial forecasting for infrastructure projects.
- Prepare and analyze profit and loss statements, financial reports, and expenditure breakdowns.
- Oversee contract administration, claims management, and risk control processes.
- Conduct market research for cost benchmarking on materials and labor.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 16 years post-qualification experience in large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Proven expertise in cost estimation, tendering, and contract administration.
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC, NEC, JCT contract forms, engineering methodologies, and procurement strategies.
- Professional certification such as RICS, NIQS, CIOB, or ICES is highly desirable.
