Job Summary:
A Senior Technical Sales Manager is required to drive the sales of chemical products within the FMCG manufacturing industry in Nigeria. The role involves identifying potential customers, managing client relationships, and overseeing the sales cycle from prospecting to closure. The successful candidate will possess strong sales skills, product knowledge, and the ability to exceed sales targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Target and engage potential customers within Nigeria’s FMCG manufacturing industry.
  • Generate new business leads through various channels, including cold calls, emails, and networking.
  • Present product demonstrations, focusing on date coding and line engineering solutions.
  • Address customer inquiries and manage the complete sales cycle to close deals.
  • Negotiate contracts, prepare proposals, and meet sales targets.
  • Maintain detailed records in CRM software and deliver weekly sales reports.

Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of sales experience in chemicals or FMCG/packaging manufacturing.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience with coding and marking solutions (Markem-Imaje or similar) is an advantage.
  • Ability to travel within Nigeria as required for client meetings and industry events.
