Job Description

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Salary: ₦200,000 monthly

A reputable company in Lekki is seeking a skilled Service Desk Officer to provide frontline technical support and ensure the smooth operation of IT services. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Log, track, and resolve incidents and service requests using a ticketing system.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams and follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop systems, applications, and peripheral devices.
  • Deliver timely and effective support while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in a technical support or help desk role.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • ITIL certification or knowledge of IT service management practices is an advantage.
