Site HR Officers
Job Description
A construction company in Ibadan is seeking competent Site HR Officers to provide human resources support at various project sites. The ideal candidates will be responsible for the recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and daily management of site workers while ensuring adherence to company policies and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate recruitment and deployment of both skilled and unskilled site workers
- Conduct onboarding and orientation sessions for new hires
- Track attendance, monitor lateness, and report absenteeism to HR Operations
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies
- Serve as the first point of contact for site-level HR issues and employee concerns
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in HR, preferably in a construction or project site environment
- Sound knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HSE standards
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and administrative skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel); ability to work in remote locations and under pressure
