Job Description
Avocado Virtual Solutions is seeking a creative and proactive Social Media & Community Manager to support a growing parenting community. This role focuses on transforming community discussions into engaging social media content, managing multiple platforms, and driving audience growth with a clear performance target for an upcoming June program.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute creative social media plans based on ideas and discussions shared within the parenting community
- Edit, caption, and publish videos and other content across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
- Manage and grow social media communities, ensuring consistent engagement and interaction
- Respond to comments, direct messages, and community interactions in a timely and professional manner
- Track social media performance, analyze insights, and recommend improvements to boost engagement and registrations
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure content aligns with program objectives and brand guidelines
Requirements
- Proven experience in social media management, content creation, or community management
- Strong video editing and caption writing skills
- Demonstrated creativity with the ability to turn simple ideas into engaging content
- Working knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook management tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines
Role Objective
- Increase engagement and reach across social media platforms
- Support the goal of registering 1,000 parents for the June program
