Job Description

Avocado Virtual Solutions is seeking a creative and proactive Social Media & Community Manager to support a growing parenting community. This role focuses on transforming community discussions into engaging social media content, managing multiple platforms, and driving audience growth with a clear performance target for an upcoming June program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute creative social media plans based on ideas and discussions shared within the parenting community
  • Edit, caption, and publish videos and other content across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
  • Manage and grow social media communities, ensuring consistent engagement and interaction
  • Respond to comments, direct messages, and community interactions in a timely and professional manner
  • Track social media performance, analyze insights, and recommend improvements to boost engagement and registrations
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure content aligns with program objectives and brand guidelines

Requirements

  • Proven experience in social media management, content creation, or community management
  • Strong video editing and caption writing skills
  • Demonstrated creativity with the ability to turn simple ideas into engaging content
  • Working knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook management tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines

  • Increase engagement and reach across social media platforms
  • Support the goal of registering 1,000 parents for the June program
