Job Description

A reputable technology retail company, PC Place Nigeria, is seeking a skilled Software Developer to manage and enhance its website. The ideal candidate should be experienced in maintaining business or eCommerce websites, ensuring optimal speed, security, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the company website, ensuring consistent uptime, fast load speeds, and mobile responsiveness.
  • Update content regularly, including product listings, promotional banners, blogs, and other marketing materials.
  • Ensure seamless integration with tools such as payment gateways, CRMs, and inventory systems.
  • Monitor and optimize site performance, traffic, and SEO using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and security plugins.
  • Troubleshoot bugs, fix broken links, and manage hosting and domain tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience managing and maintaining websites, particularly business or eCommerce platforms.
  • Proficiency in WordPress (themes, plugins, optimization, and security), HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
  • Familiarity with hosting tools such as cPanel and FTP.
  • Additional experience with Laravel, React, Shopify, or WooCommerce is a plus.
