A technology-driven company is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join its remote team in Nigeria. This role involves developing scalable web applications using a modern tech stack, with a strong focus on performance, security, and clean code.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and maintain scalable applications using Next.js and React.
  • Build and manage RESTful APIs using Node.js and integrate them with PostgreSQL databases.
  • Design and implement responsive user interfaces using Tailwind CSS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams through GitHub and CI/CD pipelines to deliver quality software.
  • Apply secure coding practices to ensure application security and data protection.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with production-ready applications using Next.js and React.
  • Proficiency in Tailwind CSS for styling.
  • Solid backend development experience with Node.js.
  • Good understanding of PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
  • Familiarity with Git version control, GitHub workflows, and CI/CD tools.
  • Strong knowledge of application security principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Must be based in Nigeria and authorized to work in the country.
