Station Manager (Oil & Gas)
Job Description
An Oil & Gas company is currently recruiting an experienced and efficient Station Manager to oversee the operations of its filling station in Owo, Ondo. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining equipment, and leading the team towards consistent service excellence and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day activities including fuel dispensing, retail operations, and general station maintenance
- Manage fuel stock levels, coordinate timely procurement and deliveries, and monitor inventory accuracy
- Lead a team of pump attendants, cashiers, and maintenance personnel to ensure discipline, productivity, and excellent customer service
- Monitor pump pricing in line with internal policy and market trends, manage daily sales reconciliation, and support budget planning
- Enforce compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards, conduct regular inspections, and oversee emergency preparedness
Requirements
- HND or BSc in Business Administration, Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing a fuel station or oil & gas retail outlet
- Strong leadership, communication, and technical problem-solving skills
- Good knowledge of regulatory compliance, safety procedures, and environmental standards
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and financial reporting tools
