Job Description

Glovo is seeking a Supply Operations Analyst to oversee and optimize supply operations in Lagos. The role focuses on improving efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and courier performance while driving actionable insights from operational data. This position requires a hands-on, analytical approach and collaboration across multiple teams to enhance delivery operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and monitor key supply metrics, including utilization rate, delivery time, reassignment rate, fill rate, and courier productivity.
  • Optimize supply efficiency and reduce operational costs by balancing demand and available resources.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify inefficiencies and lead execution of corrective actions.
  • Ensure couriers are productive, engaged, and earning sustainably through performance monitoring and targeted interventions.
  • Drive high-impact initiatives to improve core operational metrics and test scalable solutions.
  • Collaborate with Growth, Commercial, Product, and Support teams to align supply strategies with business priorities.
  • Validate operational data and insights by spending time on the ground to assess real-world constraints.
  • Prepare structured reporting and provide actionable insights to support data-driven decisions.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to convert data into operational actions.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Google Sheets, including querying large datasets and creating functional tools or trackers.
  • 3–5 years of experience in operations, consulting, startups, or business roles within fast-paced environments.
  • Proven track record of execution and delivering measurable results.
  • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to overcome blockers and ensure performance targets are met.
  • Comfortable working with limited resources, tight deadlines, and incomplete information.
  • Clear and concise communication skills, especially with remote and cross-functional teams.
  • Hands-on and practical approach, willing to spend time on the ground when needed.
