We are seeking an experienced Tank Engineer to join our team in Akwa Ibom, Nigeria. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, constructing, and maintaining storage tanks used in the oil & gas and construction industries. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, industry standards, and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and oversee the construction of storage tanks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Conduct inspections, testing, and maintenance to ensure the integrity and performance of tanks.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop technical specifications and engineering drawings.
- Provide engineering solutions to address structural or operational issues in existing tanks.
- Ensure compliance with API, ASME, and other relevant industry codes and regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 10–15 years of experience in tank design, fabrication, and maintenance, preferably in the oil & gas or construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards such as API 650, API 653, and ASME codes.
- Proficiency in engineering design software and structural analysis tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
