About the Role

Max Drive is looking for a skilled Tax Accountant to support its financial operations and ensure strict compliance with tax regulations. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in accounting and taxation, capable of providing accurate tax advice and managing all tax-related matters efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and file accurate tax returns in compliance with Nigerian tax laws.
  • Conduct regular tax audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance.
  • Liaise with tax authorities and handle tax-related correspondence.
  • Provide guidance on tax planning and financial strategies to optimize tax liabilities.

Requirements

  • A B.Sc. in Accounting or a related field.
  • ICAN or ACCA qualification is mandatory.
  • Membership of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN).
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in tax accounting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and proactive working approach.
