Job Description
Coronation Insurance Plc is seeking a qualified professional to join its team as Team Lead, Enterprise Risk Management at Coronation Life Assurance Limited. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing enterprise-wide risk frameworks, ensuring risk exposure is kept within defined limits, and supporting strategic initiatives through robust risk analysis and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, monitor, and mitigate risks across departments in Coronation Life Assurance Limited.
- Support the Head of Enterprise Risk Management in implementing and reviewing governance frameworks, risk appetite, and limits.
- Conduct risk assessments on business initiatives and coordinate with departmental risk champions.
- Maintain a comprehensive risk register and develop risk controls in collaboration with business units.
- Prepare and implement annual risk plans, report risks to executive and board-level stakeholders, and build a strong risk culture through training and education.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Statistics, or related field.
- 4–7 years of experience in risk or compliance management.
- Professional certification in risk management or a related area is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and presentation skills, knowledge of insurance regulations, and familiarity with quantitative risk models.
