An organization in Lagos is seeking a skilled Team Lead, IT Service Desk to oversee IT support operations, ensuring efficiency and service excellence. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership abilities, IT service management expertise, and experience with IT support systems.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the IT Service Desk team, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
- Implement and maintain IT service management best practices for optimal efficiency.
- Oversee the use of IT ticketing systems and remote support tools.
- Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting, and problem resolution for escalated IT issues.
- Monitor service desk performance, generate reports, and recommend improvements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ IT support experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of IT service management frameworks (ITIL certification is a plus).
- Proficiency in IT ticketing systems and remote support tools.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
