Technical Assistant Engineer
Job Description
A Technical Assistant Engineer is needed to support on-site operations within the construction sector by providing technical assistance at building sites while identifying and generating business opportunities. This role involves active field engagement, collaboration with sales teams, and ensuring timely execution of business needs.
Location: Bayelsa
Salary: N200,000 – N300,000 / month
Key Responsibilities
- Visit construction and building sites within assigned locations to provide technical support
- Identify, generate, and document potential business leads during site visits
- Transfer qualified leads to Field Sales Agents for follow-up and closure
- Ensure all leads generated are valid and can be fulfilled within 72 hours
- Maintain accurate records of site visits, leads, and daily activities
- Support the Field Sales Manager with technical and operational field tasks
- Carry out additional duties as assigned in line with business needs
Requirements
- Minimum of HND or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building Technology, Construction Management, or a related field
- Basic understanding of construction processes, building materials, and site operations
- At least 1 year of field, site, or technical support experience is an added advantage
- Strong ability to identify business opportunities and engage clients professionally
- Good communication, interpersonal, and reporting skills
- Must be physically fit and comfortable working extensively in the field
- Willingness to travel and work across different locations in Nigeria
- High level of integrity, reliability, and adaptability
