A leading industrial company in the coatings and chemical sector is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager to drive growth and manage sales operations within its Paint Raw Materials division. The ideal candidate will bring strong industry knowledge, technical expertise, and a proven ability to develop and execute winning sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve targets for paint raw materials and coatings.
- Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to leverage new opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients while expanding the customer base.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain and Production teams to ensure efficient product delivery.
- Provide technical support to customers on paint and coating product development.
- Deliver professional proposals, presentations, and sales bids to prospective clients.
- Supervise and guide the sales team, ensuring high performance and adherence to company objectives.
- Prepare regular sales and performance reports for management review.
Qualifications and Experience
- B.Sc. or HND in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5–7 years of technical sales experience in the paints and coatings industry.
- In-depth knowledge of paint formulations, additives, resins, pigments, and solvents.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven record of meeting sales goals and managing key industrial accounts.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects efficiently.
