A leading player in the roofing and construction market is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Specialist to drive market expansion and revenue growth. This onsite role is suited for a commercially driven professional who combines technical knowledge with consultative selling to deliver practical solutions for large-scale building projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute aggressive sales strategies to grow market share within the roofing and construction sector.
- Build and maintain strong commercial relationships with architects, developers, contractors, and project consultants.
- Identify new business opportunities, project leads, and partnership opportunities to drive revenue growth.
- Translate technical product features and benefits into compelling proposals and client presentations.
- Support pre-sales and post-sales technical discussions to ensure solution fit for project requirements.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform sales planning and positioning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in sales or business development within roofing, building materials, construction, or related sectors.
- Strong industry network with existing relationships across key construction stakeholders.
- Ability to interpret BOQs, understand technical specifications, and align solutions with project needs.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to work in a target-driven, high-performance environment.
