Job Description
A reputable organization is currently hiring a Telecom Engineer to provide technical support to customers, handle device configurations, perform diagnostics, and support network installation and maintenance. The ideal candidate must be tech-savvy, customer-focused, and possess solid knowledge of network protocols and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level technical assistance to walk-in customers
- Assist with device setup, installation, and configuration after sales
- Conduct site surveys, network integration, and on-site support
- Troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade access devices and resolve signal issues
- Track, document, and report incidents, tickets, and resolutions
- Prepare daily activity reports and communicate recurring technical issues to management
Requirements:
- HND or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Communication, or Information Technology
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in telecom or related technical support roles
- Strong proficiency in WiFi, WiMAX, LTE, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, and device/network troubleshooting
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to handle customer-facing situations effectively
- Familiarity with operating systems, network diagnostics, and cybersecurity practices
