Job Summary

  • The Telesales Intern will assist the sales team in reaching out to potential clients, promoting products or services, and supporting overall sales goals.
  • This role provides hands-on experience in sales and customer relations, ideal for individuals looking to build a career in sales or customer service.

Key Responsibilities
Outbound Calling:

  • Make outbound calls to prospective customers from provided contact lists.
  • Introduce the company’s products or services to potential clients and create interest.

Lead Qualification:

  • Gather essential information from leads and determine their level of interest.
  • Qualify leads and forward them to the senior sales team for follow-up if necessary.

Customer Follow-Up:

  • Conduct follow-up calls with leads who expressed interest to keep them engaged.
  • Respond to initial queries and address concerns where possible, or escalate them to the appropriate team.

Data Entry & Reporting:

  • Maintain detailed records of interactions in the CRM or sales database.
  • Assist in tracking sales metrics and performance data to report to the Telesales Supervisor.

Learning & Development:

  • Participate in training sessions to improve sales techniques and product knowledge.
  • Seek feedback and work closely with mentors to enhance sales skills.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle rejections with a positive attitude.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM software is a plus.
  • Enthusiastic and eager to learn about sales and customer engagement.

Salary
N50,000 – N60,000 monthly.
