Job Description
GIG Mobility, a leading player in the travel and mobility sector, is seeking an experienced Travel Agency Manager to oversee its travel operations, build corporate partnerships, and drive business growth. This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in travel and tours, vendor management, and corporate sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors including hotels, airlines, and tour operators.
- Negotiate competitive rates and packages with travel service providers.
- Plan and manage travel accommodations, bookings, tourism activities, and business visitor arrangements.
- Oversee documentation processes such as visas, itineraries, medical and legal forms, and payments.
- Create and implement corporate travel policies while monitoring compliance.
- Research travel deals, analyze prices, and provide cost-effective recommendations.
- Prepare and submit weekly travel budget reports to management.
- Generate new business leads, secure at least two corporate partnerships monthly, and maintain client satisfaction.
Requirements & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is an advantage).
- Minimum of 8 years of proven experience in travel and tours with exposure to event management.
- Strong background in sales leadership, with a history of meeting and exceeding targets.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, Amadeus, and sales analytics tools.
- Ability to travel for client meetings and industry events when required.
