Job Description

Mikano International Limited is hiring a highly skilled and detail-oriented UI / UX Designer with strong front-end development capabilities. The role involves designing user-centric digital interfaces and translating approved designs into responsive, high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate combines creative design expertise with solid coding proficiency and a strong understanding of user behavior.

Location: Ogba, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: N500,000 – N600,000 net monthly

Responsibilities
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to inform design decisions
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups
• Design intuitive, responsive interfaces for web and mobile platforms
• Ensure consistency with corporate branding and digital standards
• Continuously optimize user journeys to improve engagement and conversion rates
• Translate UI/UX designs into clean, scalable, and maintainable code
• Develop responsive web pages using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Implement front-end frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular where applicable
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness

Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Graphic Design, Information Technology, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience in UI / UX design and front-end development
• Demonstrated portfolio showcasing both design concepts and implemented projects
• Strong knowledge of design tools such as Figma or Adobe XD
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern JavaScript framework
• Working knowledge of Git and version control systems
