Job Description:
PIM Travels, a travel agency based in Lagos, is currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Visa Officer to manage visa application processes and provide guidance to clients on travel documentation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in visa processing and customer service within a travel agency or immigration consultancy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process visa applications for various categories including tourist, study, work, and conference visas.
- Utilize online platforms such as VFS Global, TLS Contact, and US Travel Docs for submission and tracking.
- Review client documents to ensure compliance with embassy requirements and minimize rejections.
- Provide clients with accurate and up-to-date information regarding visa procedures and timelines.
- Maintain records and ensure confidentiality and data protection in all visa processing activities.
Requirements:
- A Degree or Diploma in Travel & Tourism is required; a background in International Relations or a related field is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a visa processing role within a travel agency or immigration service firm.
- Proficiency in using visa portals such as VFS Global, TLS Contact, and US Travel Docs.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Competence in using MS Office Suite and general administrative tools.
