Nigerian British University is seeking a Web and Applications Development Specialist to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and digital solutions that support the university’s operations and enhance user experience. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise and a passion for innovation in web technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications, websites, and digital platforms.
  • Ensure the security, performance, and scalability of web-based solutions.
  • Collaborate with various departments to optimize digital services and user interfaces.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications to improve functionality.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in web development.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in web and application development.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as PHP, JavaScript, Python, or similar.
  • Experience with front-end and back-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Laravel, Django).
  • Strong knowledge of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
