A talented Website Writer & Editor to craft compelling website content, articles, and marketing copy that engages our audience and strengthens our brand voice. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong editorial skills, and a solid understanding of SEO best practices.
Responsibilities
- Write clear, engaging, and persuasive website copy, articles, and other content types.
- Edit and proofread content for grammar, style, and accuracy while maintaining brand consistency.
- Work closely with content strategists and digital marketers to develop and execute a content calendar.
- Optimize content for search engines using keyword research, meta descriptions, and structured formatting.
- Manage website content through our CMS, ensuring timely updates and maintaining article quality.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in web writing or editorial roles, preferably in media or digital publishing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field.
- Experience with multimedia content, including video scripts and interactive elements.
- Strong knowledge of SEO best practices and proficiency in content management systems (CMS).
- Ability to write for diverse audiences and adapt tone as needed.
- Familiarity with AP Style or similar editorial standards.
- Must be living on the island.
