Betternship is seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to work onsite with its creative and technical team. The role involves building, maintaining, and enhancing WordPress websites, including the main Betternship platform and client contract sites. Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and maintain assigned websites to ensure functionality, security, and performance.
  • Develop and customize WordPress themes, plugins, and solutions based on project requirements.
  • Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and user experience across different platforms.
  • Collaborate with project managers, designers, and stakeholders to implement high-quality solutions.
  • Perform regular updates of WordPress core, plugins, and themes to maintain security and compatibility.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a WordPress Developer.
  • Strong proficiency in WordPress, with expertise in creating custom themes and plugins.
  • Solid knowledge of PHP is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with debugging tools and website optimization techniques.
  • Experience with Elementor, WPBakery, or other popular page builders.
  • Good understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
