Job Description

Odixcity Consulting is looking for a skilled and experienced WordPress Developer to work remotely. The ideal candidate should be highly proficient in customizing WordPress websites, optimizing performance, and ensuring both functionality and security. This is an opportunity to work on diverse client projects while applying best practices in web development and SEO.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customize and develop WordPress themes, plugins, and components to meet specific client needs.
  • Monitor and enhance website performance, including caching, image optimization, and responsive UI implementation.
  • Conduct regular updates to WordPress core files, themes, and plugins to ensure site security and stability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that affect user experience and website functionality.
  • Apply on-page SEO techniques to improve site visibility and search engine ranking.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure site features align with business objectives.
  • Implement security protocols to protect websites from vulnerabilities and threats.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience through previous work or contributions to open-source projects.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, and other relevant technologies.
  • Deep understanding of WordPress, including themes, plugins, and the administrative dashboard.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to solve problems independently.
  • Familiarity with the latest WordPress updates, tools, and development trends.
