Job Description
Tunjio Labs LLC is seeking a visionary Product Designer (UI/UX) to take ownership of design from concept to execution in a fast-paced startup environment. This role is for a creative problem-solver who can think like a founder, identify user needs, and deliver exceptional digital experiences. The position is equity-based, offering the opportunity to shape the company’s design vision while holding a significant stake in its future.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the product design vision from the ground up, ensuring every interaction is purposeful and user-centered.
- Conduct UX research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to guide design strategy.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using tools like Figma, Framer, or similar.
- Create and maintain scalable design systems to ensure consistency across products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in product, engineering, and marketing for cohesive execution.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a UI/UX or Product Designer, with a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency in modern design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or Framer.
- Strong understanding of usability principles, interaction design, and visual design.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions.
Compensation
This is an equity-based role, not a salaried position. The selected candidate will join as a co-founder-level design leader with ownership in the company’s success.
