About the Role
A Strategic Sourcing Specialist is needed to manage procurement activities and supplier relationships within the oil and gas industry. This role is critical in optimizing sourcing strategies, reducing costs, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills and experience in procurement, contract management, and ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to optimize procurement processes.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand project requirements and align sourcing strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in procurement or strategic sourcing within the oil and gas sector.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and data analysis tools.
- Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management abilities.
