Job Overview:
A reputable food processing company in Abuja is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and optimize production workflows, logistics, procurement, and internal systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strategic operational leadership and drive efficiency across all departments to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily plant operations ensuring smooth production flow
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams including Production, Procurement, and Quality Assurance
- Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs
- Ensure strict adherence to safety, health, and environmental regulations
- Prepare and present operational performance reports to senior management
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc./HND) in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in operations management, preferably within food processing or manufacturing industries
- Proven leadership, organizational, and planning skills
- Proficiency in production planning and supply chain management software
